Alexander Volkanovski is set to make his UFC debut in the lightweight division against lightweight champion Islam Makhachev at UFC 284. The headliner fight is scheduled for February 11, 2023, at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.

In a recently uploaded YouTube video, former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping commented on the much-awaited title fight. The UFC veteran believes that the physical disparity might have some bearing on the fight, but what would be more important is the ‘ground and pound.’

Michael Bisping is confident Conor McGregor will get an immediate title shot upon successful comeback

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping believes that if Conor McGregor is successful in his return to the Octagon, he will be given an immediate title shot.

Bisping made the comments during a Q&A on YouTube, responding to a fan who suggested that McGregor shall have to defeat Dustin Poirier before vying for the title. Bisping argued that McGregor, who is still considered the biggest star in the promotion, should be granted the title shot if he wins his comeback fight due to the “millions” that the Irishman brings along with him to the showdown.
